Hire terms and conditions

By entering into a hire contract with Streetparty Vintage, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions. Please read carefully and feel free to ask us if you have any queries.

  1. Length of hire is normally three days:
    • day before the event
    • event day
    • day after the event
    • If you require a longer hire period, please arrange this with us at booking. Depending on length, further rental fee may be incurred.
  2. Fees to be paid:
    • deposit on booking (30% of total balance)
    • breakages refundable deposit (20% of total balance) 28 days prior to event
    • outstanding balance 28 days prior to event
    • If booking is made less than 28 days prior to event, full balance to be paid at time of booking.
  3. The hirer is solely responsible for hired items during the period of hire.
  4. Regardless of who has paid, all responsibility of hired items rests with the hirer.
  5. All items remain the property of Streetparty Vintage at all times.
  6. On delivery and collection, a signature will be required to say you are happy with all items and nothing is broken. We will always supply spares in the event of mishaps.
  7. Breakages fees will be charged per item and will be deducted from breakage deposit:

  1. Delivery and collection will be free if event/delivery address is in Shropshire, Staffordshire, Cheshire and Wrexham.
    We will contact you to arrange delivery/collection options at least 28 days prior to your event.
  2. We will aim to contact you to arrange lay-up of items at least 14 days prior to event.
  3. Cancellations should be made via email or phone call (not voicemail):
    • If booking is cancelled more than 28 days prior to event day, a full refund will be given.
    • If booking is cancelled within 28 days prior to event day the deposit will be non-refundable.
    • If booking is cancelled within 7 days prior to event day, the total hire fee (not including breakages deposit) will non-refundable.
  4. All items to be returned clean and in the state they were received. Please be aware that all items are to be hand-washed. Please do not use dishwashers as much of our china is delicate and was made before dishwashers came along. We can offer suggestions on how to wash the china, please feel free to ask.

All terms and conditions are for 2016 hiring. Streetparty Vintage reserve the right to update and amend the terms and conditions as deemed appropriate.
